PROPER PROCEDURE ON HOW TO REPORT A WORK-RELATED INJURY
If an employee becomes injured while on the job they should do the following in this order:
Notify YOUR Supervisor Immediately. Call InterAid Triage @ 1-800-367-5020 (Unless this is a life threatening emergency call 911) Go to the designated physician that InterAid Triage refers you to go to.(Unless you have a predesignated form on file in the Risk Management office PRIOR to your injury.) After you receive treatment, please call the Risk Management office (559) 675-4500 Ext 272 to speak with Valarie Baez to receive information on filing a Workers’ Compensation Claim.
Note: The district will NOT be responsible for payment of Workers' Compensation benefits for an injury that occurs from your voluntary participation in any off duty, recreational, social or athletic activity that is not part of your essential job duties.

Public Hearings regarding the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), Budget Overview for Parents and the Proposed Budget for the Madera Unified School District will be held before the governing board of the district at Madera Unified School District Board Room, 1902 Howard Road, Madera CA 93637 on June 9, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The proposed budget will be available for inspection at the district office, 1902 Howard Road, Madera CA 93637 on June 4, 2026. Any member of the public may appear and be heard concerning the Local Control Accountability Plan and any resident of the district may object to the proposed budget or any item in the budget.
