Season Four Character Trait Information
At MULES track and field, we believe that success goes far beyond wins and losses. Each season, we focus on building strong character in our athletes.
This season’s featured trait is fairness — the quality of positively abiding by the rules of competition. An attitude of fairness is displayed when athletes follow rules with a positive attitude and respect the outcomes of their event, have a competitive attitude while maintaining and creating friendships, and take pride in winning while being modest and humble.
We encourage our parents and coaches to reinforce these messages at home, in the stands, and during practice. When we model and support fairness, we help our young athletes become stronger competitors and even better people.

No cuts will be made in track and field (meet 1 and meet 2). However, only the top four qualifiers from each school in each event will move on to the pyramid qualifiers (meet 3); then, only the top three finishers from each event at the pyramid qualifiers (blue, purple, and red) will move on to the district championships (meet 4).
