Help design the for the 2026 Graduation Magazine.

Contest Overview

Calling all Madera Unified seniors! Design the cover art for the 2026 Graduation Edition of We Believe Magazine. Show off your creativity and represent the Class of 2026! 

Eligibility

  • Open exclusively to MUSD seniors across the district.
  • Individual submissions or group submissions accepted. 

Theme

  • Should celebrate graduation, achievement, and the Class of 2026

Artwork Requirements

  • Must represent all high schools equally and not be site-specific. This is not a competition between schools.
  • Must be family-friendly and positive in tone and imagery
  • No offensive language, imagery, or references
  • Original work only, no copyrighted characters, logos, or AI-generated art
  • A downloadable template with dimensions and specs will be available on the communications department page

How to Submit

  • Visit the contest page on the MUSD website under Communications
  • Complete the upload form (artwork file) and the inspiration form (tell us about you and your design)
  • Deadline: Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10pm. 

Conclusion 

  • Winners will be notified by Friday, May 3rd, 2026.

 Only seniors currently enrolled at a MUSD school — Madera South, Madera High, Torres High, Furman, Ripperdan, Mt. Vista.

Yes! CTE teachers can incorporate the contest into their senior students' curriculum. Each student should still submit individually through the website.

 8.5in by 11 in with .25in bleed. Download the official template from the contest website. It will include exact dimensions, resolution, and file format requirements. Preferred files: AI, PSD, PNG, PDF, JPEG.

Both are welcome! Just make sure it's your original work and meets the template specs. Full AI-generated art is not accepted.

A short form where you share your name, school, a brief artist bio, and what inspired your design. This helps us tell your story if you're selected.

The Communications Department will take the lead in choosing the cover art. 

This contest is reserved for the graduating Class of 2026. Keep an eye out for future opportunities!

Public Hearings regarding the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), Budget Overview for Parents and the Proposed Budget for the Madera Unified School District will be held before the governing board of the district at Madera Unified School District Board Room, 1902 Howard Road, Madera CA 93637 on June 9, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The proposed budget will be available for inspection at the district office, 1902 Howard Road, Madera CA 93637 on June 4, 2026. Any member of the public may appear and be heard concerning the Local Control Accountability Plan and any resident of the district may object to the proposed budget or any item in the budget.
