Flyer Approval Guidelines
Madera Unified is frequently contacted by local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community groups seeking to share flyers or other materials with students, families, and/or employees. While we recognize the valuable partnerships these organizations provide to our schools, the District cannot approve every request.
To protect the educational purpose and limited resources of our schools, Madera Unified’s Governing Board has established policies governing the distribution of materials in schools. Please review Board Policy 1325 before submitting a flyer.
Flyer Distribution
Madera Unified cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational or enrichment nature by distributing approved materials electronically through Peachjar.
As part of our efforts to be environmentally responsible, embrace technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, Madera Unified has transitioned from paper to electronic flyer distribution. Paper flyers from outside organizations are not distributed through MUSD schools.
Approved flyers may be distributed electronically through Peachjar to the appropriate selected audience, including MUSD families and/or district staff, depending on the type of submission and audience selected.
Flyers intended for MUSD families must include a Spanish translation.
How to Request Flyer Approval
To submit a flyer for consideration:
- Visit www.peachjar.com
- Register as a Community Organization
- Upload your flyer and select Madera Unified School District and the appropriate audience/schools
Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the District for review. District staff will review the material and approve or deny the request based on District guidelines and Board Policy 1325.
Peachjar may charge a fee for its distribution service. Allow 10 working days for flyer processing.
Please note: Submission of a flyer does not guarantee approval or distribution. Approval and distribution of a flyer does not constitute endorsement by Madera Unified School District.
Staff Distribution
Organizations may submit flyers for consideration for distribution to MUSD employees through Peachjar. Staff distribution is subject to the same District review and approval process.
